96 hours of July and 1 hell is the chronicle of events that changed forever the history of Horta de Sant Joan and that of forest fires in Catalonia. Shortly after nine o'clock in the evening on July 20, 2009, a neighbor reported that he had seen smoke in the Cubars ravine, three kilometers from the town, right at the gates of the Ports Natural Park. A frantic fight against the fire then began.
