The texts that make up this volume are variations on a single theme, the theme of a philosophy that is exercised above all by testing those perspectives that follow the guidelines of the occasions. The type of philosophy that I cultivate - I can say 'my thought' - is governed rather by a logic of conversation than by a closed argumentative logic. However, one does not 'get' here from anywhere, nor is one always wandering around, but rather stays within a horizon. This is essentially also our own relationship with being, for such is the openness within which we are, little like a systematic structure with a beginning, middle, and end. What can be expected, then, from a thought as inconclusive as this, from one who instead of thinking of concluding wants to remain open? 'If I must recommend anyone to read this book, I will do so, appealing that its reading can improve their lives, and perhaps not only because it can provide them with certain materials to' entertain themselves', but much more plausibly, according to the author less, based on the fact that it can improve life because it is 'changed'; remember that this was for Gadamer the meaning of the experience of truth in art: after reading -in this case- you are no longer the same, and speaking Hegelian not because you have lost something, but because you have achieved it, you have acquired that mutation that occurs in the reader...
