Demipage bets on poetry and, consequently, does not want to establish a literary canon. Nor deny the existence of other valuable poets not included in this book. Those goals seem antipoetic to us. Our claim is clear and simple: we offer a brief sample of the quality of thirteen current authors in Spanish. Hopefully readers and readers search and delve into the set of works. We show literature of varied aesthetics. Surrealism, free sensuality, exuberance, reflection or minimalism fit into these pages. After so many centuries of obscurantism suffered, women broaden our poetic sensibility. They break the limits of the old calendars. They provide years of thirteen months.
