Arek hadn't thought what would happen after fulfilling the prophecy that said he was destined to save the kingdom of Ere from the rule of evil. So now that he's finally (somewhat clumsily) lopped off the evil king's head (turns out the magic sword he pulled out of the swamp wasn't sharp), he and his motley crew of fellow adventurers are a bit lost and don't know what to do. they know what to do. As a temporary safeguard, Arek's best wizard friend, Matt, convinces him to assume the throne until the tower's rightful heir is rescued. Only she is dead. Now Arek is king, and he's stuck in a position that has a catch: choose his soul mate before his eighteenth birthday or weaken to death. With three months to go until his birthday and only Matt knows the secret, Arek embarks on a desperate quest to find a mate and save his life... starting with his fellow adventurers. But his attempts to woo his friends backfire pretty badly, albeit gracefully... until he discovers that love may have been right in front of him all this time.
