Kakeru and Yamato are childhood friends and as different as night and day. However, their relationship is turned upside down when Yamato, in a fit of sincerity, bursts out and expresses his feelings to his best friend. But Kakeru didn't quite believe it... why would a person as intelligent, beautiful and kind as Yamato take notice of someone like him? His disbelief leads him to pretend that the declaration of love has never happened and, as they grow apart, their relationship gradually cools. Will they be able to recover their former friendship, now that Kakeru knows how his friend feels about him?
