Bluets

Bluets

Nelson, Maggie

Bluets is an experimental hybrid that oscillates between the lyrical essay and the poetic prose to build a personal and philosophical reflection on the color blue, lost loves, pain and loneliness. Through 240 fragments with no apparent connection to each other, but gradually revealing the polyphonic links that occur within any network (Guattari), the author builds a rhizomatic writing in which the words, the blue ink and their thought seem to flow as if they had been written in water (Keats); reflections that go from very personal aspects of her life (her depression, her love break, the paraplegia of a friend after an accident, an afternoon of intense sex in a room at the Hotel Chelsea) to a multitude of artistic works .
