Brooklyn Follies

Auster, Paul

Nathan Glass, a sixty-year-old man who has just overcome an illness, has decided to retire to Brooklyn to spend the last years of his life. In the neighborhood, he regularly goes to a cafeteria, where he bonds with a waitress, and to a bookstore run by a peculiar character. Coincidence leads him to coincide with his nephew Tom, with whom he had lost contact, who tries to earn a living by combining the jobs of bookseller and taxi driver. Brooklyn will unite them again and they will build a relationship that time had interrupted.
