Camanchaca

A twenty-year-old boy travels with his father from Chile to Tacna to get his teeth fixed. Along the way, with the road and the arid landscape in the background, he begins to remember his lonely childhood, the almost unspeakable relationship he has with his mother, and the countless times he was told to lose weight. Camanchaca -also that coastal fog, abundant and copious in the Pacific towards the north of Chile- is the narration of the precariousness of a family, its secrets, its lies and the dark country that serves as a setting.
