In 1950, eleven years after its world premiere, the film "Foise co vento" arrived in Spanish cinemas. Spanish society, crumbled by the disasters of war, poverty and hunger, was on the hunt for survival in the new normalcy established by the victors, eleven years after the end of the struggle. However, moving through an untamed territory in which the landscape was stunning, a territory that occupied much of the Bierzo region, the mountains of Lugo and Ourense and, particularly, the region of La Cabrera, a group of men and a woman, described as bandits, they had put a price on their heads, alive or dead, with rewards that could fix the lives of informers or traitors.
