Cenas de amigos
Conget, José María
For years a group of friends met at their homes to have dinner, discuss culture and politics and support each other in their cultural projects, while their children played separately or watched movies on video. In their fifties, adults have known the disappointment of their partners, disloyalties and intimate frustrations, but also the eruption of egos, literary success and discomfort with their own past. Young people, oblivious to their parents, live the loving fire or fight against disorientation and loneliness. Dinners with friends takes place during the brief fervor of the In-dignados movement and describes the fatigue and skepticism of a generation and the failure of passions.
