Almost a year after her mother's death, Helena travels to New York to continue her legacy. This is how she resumes her work at Chapters, a small neighborhood bookstore in Brooklyn. At the same time, Doyle, the son of the most famous writer of romantic literature in the United States, looks for ways to help her mother now that her health begins to falter. After several meetings in which it is clear that they cannot stand each other, Helena and Doyle will have to work together to achieve their own goals. What they are both clear about is that neither can let this new work proximity become something more... especially now that Christmas, one of the most romantic times of the year, is approaching.
