Como era en un principio
Blanco, Daniel
In 1987, Adela loses the gold and diamond watch that her husband Antonio had given her four months earlier. Although she searches hard for him - in the office, at home, on the street - she never finds him. She falls into a depression, feels awkward, unsuccessful. In 2019, Adela received at work, and a few days after retirement, an envelope without a seal and without a return address with the watch she had lost thirty-two years earlier. This appearance leaves her speechless and reveals two certainties: that someone from her environment stole it and that someone has hated her enough to make her suffer for more than three decades. The appearance of the clock opens a black hole, a new scenario of mistrust in the family, and it is Virginia, Adela's little daughter, a young woman of almost forty, without work and without a partner, who is leading a delicate investigation that will force her to face the past, to question the affections of always, to reach into the old grudges to find out who he was and, above all, why. Family, friends and neighbors are now in the spotlight. No one is, in principle, innocent. The closest, the essential are now the suspects. And among them is the culprit.
