After a brutal breakup with her boyfriend, Geraldine struggles to get her life back on track in Toronto. Her two best friends, Sunny and Rachel, long ago left for New York, where they found a good job, a great husband, and a glamorous life (or so it seems to Geraldine). Tired of seeing life from the sidelines, she decides to take the leap and finally moves to the Big Apple, where she nevertheless discovers how difficult it is to find a place of her own in a universe of influencers and media experts, after attending all the fashion parties. For her part, Rachel struggles to be a writer, wife and mother, and Sunny's life as a trendsetter in the West Village is not as dazzling as it seemed. They are no longer the three young and great friends who shared everything and their relationship is in danger of entering a deep crisis.
