Days before the celebration of the 1961 Oscar ceremony -the fourth and last time he was nominated- Montgomery Clift prepares his return to the theater stage in an apartment on the Upper East Side with Chekhov's The Seagull. He has finally decided to escape from the mandates of the film studios and the persecution of the press, but first he will have to settle the pending accounts with the past: the traffic accident that broke his gallant mask, the family ghosts and the desire that he dare not say his name. Some of the fallen gods of Hollywood's Olympus (James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor or Marlon Brando) walk through this theatrical piece from the lucid and hallucinated gaze of Clift himself.
