"With this and a cake, see you tomorrow at eight" is the phrase spoken by Dr. Morales, the psychologist Mariana Nogueira goes to to combat the ghosts of the past. Despite leading an independent life and living in Madrid, the young lawyer has just returned to her family's home after suffering a car accident that left her leg seriously injured. But much worse than the physical injuries are the psychological ones, because the young man who was driving the car has died and she feels very guilty. Thus she begins a long road of recovery in which her father, her three brothers, her friends and the affectionate Cecilia, the woman who has cared for her since childhood, accompany her. When an unexpected call brings out feelings from the past, Mariana finally begins to see the light at the end of the tunnel and to regain her will to live.
