Paris Peralta is arrested in her own bathroom: she is covered in blood, holding a razor, and her famous husband lies dead in the bathtub. But terrible as it seems, it's not her inevitable murder charge that worries him most. The media swoops in like bloodhounds and won't leave her alone. It's only a matter of time before someone from her long-hidden past recognizes her and destroys the new life she's worked so hard to build. Twenty-five years earlier, Ruby Reyes, known as the Ice Queen, was convicted of a similar murder in a trial that rocked Canada in the early 1990s.
