In many cases, the written documents that we know from ancient Rome contain, more than true facts, rumors or gossip that reached the writer's ears. Starting from this base and in an entertaining way, this book recounts the most notorious gossip with which the Romans entertained themselves in the forums or in the baths of the cities, from Lisbon to Palmyra. Thus, throughout the work, rumors are explained about celebrities such as Julius Caesar or Cleopatra, political and social gossip, the most succulent gossip related to certain love affairs and also, to understand everything, it is shown how all of them were propagated, through through the "social networks" of that time. This unique approach to Roman history is designed so that all kinds of readers can get into it without having to be specialists. Because the life of the Romans is very similar to our life, their experiences and their dreams are like ours, so, more than their heirs, we are still Romans.
