Diario de donceles
Quintero, Ednodio
In the classic manner of a diary based on "real" events contaminated by what the author himself has called his vicious imagination, Diario de Donceles tells of the adventures of the protagonist-narrator during his stay of a few months in the most polluted city of the planet: Mexico Tenochtitlán. Delusional, chaotic, irreverent, written with unbridled passion, pierced by bursts of a dazzling Eros, the author using a language that ranges from poetry to pop registers and colloquial speech, the novel gives the reader no respite. In the city where his "bird bones" have ended up, he confronts a gang of green dwarfs, Catrina, who shows him her poisoned scythe, the trio of bodyguards who apply the Chinese key and the living ghost of Pedro Infante that chases him to Culiacán.
