As a young man, J. V. Foix devoted himself wholeheartedly to cultural journalism. The outbreak of war and the Franco regime interrupted this activity. But at the turn of the fifties to the sixties, as soon as he could, and to the extent that the new times allowed, Foix returned to exercise "his" cultural journalism. We rescue, collecting them in volume for the first time, the 26 contributions he made to the "Letters" section from the early days of Serra d'Or magazine, between March 1960 and October 1962. Foix renewed a old practice of the "Meridians" of La Publicitat, and turned the pages of Serra d'Or into a speaker of "Documents propis" and "Texts d'altri" to set positions in front of the world of poetry, art and culture.
