El destino de una reina

Désirée Clary, daughter of a rich and noble merchant, is the fiancée of Napoleon Bonaparte, who, upon meeting Josefina Beauchamp in Paris, breaks the engagement. After years of magnificent relationships and married to the famous military man Jean Baptiste Bernadotte, he stops supporting Napoleon and, when proposed, agrees to be the new king of Sweden. Désirée thus becomes queen of Sweden, and her son, Oscar, the crown prince. However, fate will unite the lives of Napoleon and Désirée again, since she the one chosen to marry Oscar will be the granddaughter of Napoleon and Josefina. Their union starts a monarchical dynasty whose heirs reign in Sweden to this day.
