El Holocausto y la España de Franco

Moradiellos García, Enrique
López Rodríguez, Santiago
Rina Simón, César

The Holocaust is unanimously considered the worst crime in human history. It meant the murder of six million European Jews, including a million and a half children. Its almost aseptic efficiency and its industrial scale continue to move and repel in equal measure. The attitude of the Franco dictatorship in this regard is little known and often misunderstood. The book shows that, against the current of the official propaganda about "Judeo-Masonic conspiracy" and the anti-Semitic drive of a no lesser part of the military hierarchy, Franco's attitude oscillated between indifference, passive collaboration and aid to the persecuted Jews. , above all, but not exclusively, to those of Sephardic origin, some of them holders of Spanish nationality by decree of Primo de Rivera.
