El hombre que paseaba con libros
Henn, Carsten
Despite being seventy-one years old, every afternoon after work, bookseller Carl Kollhoff personally delivers the books ordered by his most special clients. Thus, every day he takes a pleasant walk through the picturesque streets of the city, sees how life goes on outside the bookstore and visits the voracious readers who have become friends for him. He even compares them to characters from great classics of literature and has given them a very romantic nickname. For example, an older client who lives alone in a large mansion is Mr. Darcy, and another who only reads historical essays is Dr. Faust. When he unexpectedly loses his job, it will take the power of books and that of a nine-year-old girl for everyone, including Carl himself, to find the courage to overcome their problems and reach out to each other.
