When four old college friends set off for the Scandinavian wilderness of the Arctic Circle, their goal is to briefly escape the troubles in their lives and reconnect with each other. But when Luke, the only single man living a meager existence, discovers he has little in common with his wealthy friends, tensions rise. With limited experience between them, a shortcut meant to make their walk easier turns into a nightmare scenario that could cost them their lives. Lost, hungry, and surrounded by a forest untouched for millennia, Luke believes things couldn't get any worse. But then they come across an old room. Ancient artifacts decorate the walls, and bones are strewn across the dry floors. The residue of ancient pagan rites and sacrifices for something that still exists in the forest. Something responsible for the bestial presence that follows each of his steps. As the four friends stumble towards safety, they learn that death is not easy among these ancient trees...
