The opening night of the Theater of the Wild Fire has everything to be a great success for Daidoji Shin, amateur detective and performing arts entrepreneur. The most select figures of the City of the Rich Frog are present, and, if all goes well, Shin's plan could succeed. However, as the performance begins, the new lead actress of the Three Flowers Theater Company is killed on stage... and all members of the audience become possible suspects. Shin has until the final curtain falls to find the killer. Time is against him, as Shin can only keep the illustrious guests for so long.
