El silenci dels arbres
Màrquez, Eduard
Violinist Andreas Hymer arrives in a besieged city to perform a concert and retrieve Amela Jensen. There, moreover, thanks to Ernest Bolsi, who, defying the bombs, acts as a guide in the empty music museum, he will find explanations and answers that will help him to accept his past and understand the mysterious disappearance of his mother. The intertwined stories of these three characters alternate with the letters that museum visitors write to family and friends to keep them informed of their situation. As if it were the heart of a tragedy, their voices capture the emotions and the ability to survive and struggle of those who have to face death with the only weapon they have left: the will to live.
