Steven Weinberg, Nobel Prize in Physics for his contribution to the unification of two of the basic forces of nature - the weak force and electromagnetism -, addresses in this book the great intellectual adventure of our time: the search for a "final theory ", one in which all the fundamental questions would find answers without requiring an explanation in terms of other principles.
