El terrorismo en España
de ETA al Dáesh
Fernández Soldevilla, Gaizka
On June 27, 1960, a bomb explosion injured a girl, Begoña Urroz, who died the following day. That attack inaugurated the history of terrorism in Spain. Throughout its pages the DRIL, ETA, the BVE, the GRAPO, the GAL, Al Qaeda or Daesh appear. They were very different organizations: radical nationalists, extreme left, extreme right, vigilante, international or jihadists. However, they were all guided by the same principle: the end justifies the bloody means. In addition to analyzing the trajectory of the different terrorist gangs, this work pays special attention to their victims. The Ministry of the Interior has registered 1,451 murders and 4,983 injuries in attacks that occurred from 1960 to the present. Rescuing some of their biographies, victims of terrorism are given a prominent role in the story. This book allows us to understand a phenomenon that has not only marked our recent past, but is still one of the greatest threats we face today.
