El verano que volvimos a Alegranza
Fernández-Miranda, María
Leandra is an editor at a fashion magazine based in Madrid. At the age of thirty-five, she has moved away from her husband, she has lost her illusion for her work and has witnessed the death of her aunt Valentina of her in dramatic circumstances. In search of answers to the existential crisis in which she is immersed, she decides to spend a summer in Alegranza -the Indian house that her grandfather Tomás built in the Asturian town of Colunga- and accept the challenge of Jean-Luc Peltier, a prestigious perfumer you have interviewed: make a perfume that helps you define yourself. While delving into her childhood memories, infused with wild rose, hydrangea or honeysuckle, Leandra will unveil the different layers of secrets that, like the ingredients in a fragrance, make up the history of her family.
