Enemigo invisible

May, Peter

London is the epicenter of a global pandemic, a confined and violent city. An exceptional state of emergency has been imposed because of a virus that has already killed thousands of people. Health services are overwhelmed and new health centers must be built to decongest the system. In one of the places where a hospital will be built, they find a bag with the remains of a child. Jack MacNeil, on his last day in the Metropolitan Police, must resolve the case in a context of pressure and violence. The murderer, relentless, is ready to kill again to erase his trail. Meanwhile, his life is broken by the same evil that destroys the existence of the rest.
