Raúl Zurita's essays, written at the height of the music of a language, show the intimate relationship between life and work that is at the base of all his writing. This conception of the world is revealed as Zurita reads classic and contemporary poets, essayists and novelists, works of artists and photographers and some tragic episodes in human history.
