España, ¡Qué país, Mikelarena!

Iñaki Anasagasti is well known as a politician. However, in this book he surprises with his proposal of a minimum consensus among all Basques who want a sovereign Euskal Herria in the face of the Spanish setup. A montage whose main exponent is Madrid, where an unproductive elite feels its privileges are in danger and unites by generating hatred towards what they call peripheral nationalisms. Anasagasti, who has known them closely, points out and criticizes the Royal House, the political corpus, the enormous number of high-ranking officials, the military leadership, the advisors of the largest companies in the country, the senior staff of the judiciary, episcopal conferences, courtiers, power brokers, lobbies, journalists and lackeys who produce absolutely nothing, but require enormous resources at the expense of the periphery.
