Mourin, Ivan

XIX century. Three sisters simulate contact with spirits by hitting. XXI century. A group of investigators broadcast in streaming the incursion in a supposedly haunted building. Almost two centuries have passed since spiritism was established in nineteenth-century society as if it were a spectacle, surviving in our era. Technology, far from what we can think, has fueled this movement, allowing us to continue to believe in monsters, spirits or demons. But they have managed to adapt to our time: now, telephones are the ones that end up being possessed, anyone can buy a cursed object, stay at a distance to perform summoning rituals or enjoy a paranormal investigation from the comfort of the sofa at home. How does all this affect our society? And how have certain beliefs evolved and adapted, when rationalism is supposed to try to impose itself at all costs?
