Fin de semana

Pilar Tena's third novel takes place in two time planes and two geographical areas: London and the English countryside; Barcelona and the Ampurdán. Two couples meet in a modernist apartment in the Eixample after many years without seeing each other. After them drag decades of friendship and infidelity, loyalty and disloyalty. The memory of their mutual friend, a Canadian photojournalist, is omnipresent in the reunion. A fictional construction that serves its author to investigate the eternal themes of love, friendship, desire and deception.
