Frágiles
cartas sobre la ansiedad y la esperanza en la nueva cultura
Zafra, Remedios

Recognized vulnerability forces the subject to slow down and hold on to those next door, but in the new culture of immaterial work for many, life passes isolated in front of screens, exhausted and anxious, over-medicated, resting only to go back to work, facing the existence as a race marked by deadlines and numbers. The writing of this book, which is also a letter, is motivated by an anonymous voice: that of a trained woman, for many a privileged woman with access to temporary jobs with no reason to feel anguish, and who, after reading The Enthusiasm, the previous In the author's essay, she questioned her saying that she had described a work-life so similar to her own that it made it, in the light of the book, revealed to her conflictive and less livable.
