Fulgor

Mancilla, Alma

Eva, a young anthropology student recovering from an abortion, settles in a cabin to do fieldwork on an indigenous community. But she runs into a disturbing group of silent women in white in the woods, although no one in town knows of them. Nor of the strange hamlet they inhabit, together with an albino boy, where owls prowl. And by the time Eva's medication runs out, the line between fantasy and reality will blur. With a refined and crepuscular prose, Mancilla explores the oppressive terror that nests in the center of the feminine condition.
