Intento de escapada
Hernández, Miguel Ángel
Marcos' routine, applied and withdrawn Fine Arts student, is interrupted by the arrival in his small city of provinces of the famous Jacobo Montes, the great social artist of the present, whose transgressive work pretends to be a denunciation of contemporary capitalism. Almost by chance, Marcos ends up becoming his assistant and with him he will learn to look at reality with new eyes, especially the immigration problem, a topic that Montes intends to work in the city. A whole experience of initiation that, however, will not end as Marcos had imagined. Montes's methods are at the limit of what is admissible. And when theory is put into practice, things run the risk of getting out of hand. At that moment, art is transformed into a grotesque and dangerous game. A deep and poisoned critique of the most radical contemporary art and of the cynical attitude that is hidden behind certain "committed" artistic practices.
