L'ampolla mig plena

aprendre de les crisis i dels que ho fan millor

Amat, Oriol

We need to take advantage of crises like the current one to ask ourselves if we can do things better. Economist and professor Oriol Amat has studied the factors that contribute to the success or failure of an organization, a country or a person, because differences are not usually the result of chance, but of what it is done and what is not done. Throughout history, a number of major economic crises have been documented. The best known are the Dutch tulips of the seventeenth century, the crack of 1929 and, more recently, the puntcom crisis of 2000, the real estate and financial crisis of 2008 and the coronavirus of 2020. Although each crisis is different, there are some patterns that recur, especially in the later stages when it explodes. The half-full bottle presents lessons we can learn from the people, organizations and countries that come out of it, keeping in mind that the goal is to generate well-being and build a world that is worthwhile and that is better than what we have.
