Spring of 1938. A young assistant from the popular library of Canet de Mar travels for the first time to the front in the bibliobus, a traveling library created to bring books to the fighters of the Army of the East of the Republic and to the wounded who they recovered in the hospitals of the rear. The library bus toured Catalonia from end to end, from the coast to the Pyrenees and was always affected by bombings and troop movements.
