La Edad Media
Cifuentes, Pedro
On the pages of Art History in comics. In the Middle Ages we will look at the moments and capital places to understand a period of history that was not, by far, as dark as it is often painted. Or do the frescoes of San Clemente de Tahull or the Gothic stained glass windows seem dark to you? We are going to tour medieval Spain with monuments such as the Cordoba mosque, the Pórtico de la Gloria of the Santiago cathedral, the Santa María de Poblet monastery or the Loarre castle, but we will also go beyond the Pyrenees to marvel at the domes of Hagia Sophia and Saint Mark, with the facades of Ghent and with the height of Notre Dame, which receives a beautiful tribute, wishing that old lady a speedy recovery. And we will go even further, because our Art History has a universal vocation, and we will visit the rock churches of Ethiopia, distant China and we will even see a pre-Columbian codex. Dark? Ha!
