When Vonceil's older brother, Elber, arrives at the family farm after serving on the front lines of World War I, things are no longer the same. His experiences have turned him into a serious and gloomy man, he no longer has time to dedicate to Vonceil and decides to marry his longtime girlfriend and settle down. Suddenly, a mysterious woman dressed in white appears at the farm, reproaching Elber for abandoning her in France. Outraged by his refusal to leave his current wife, she places a curse on the family well, turning the entire city's water supply into salt water. Who is this lady dressed in white and what has she done to the farm? To find out, Vonceil will embark on a dizzying journey into the world of witchcraft, facing shape-shifting animals, the capricious Sugar Witch and, of course, the Lady in White herself: the Salt Witch.
