La partitura misteriosa
Birmingham, George A.
The mystery score was presented in its first edition (1930) as "a mystery story in which there is a murder, but not particularly disturbing or heartbreaking." The author focuses more on the interrelationships of the clergy of the small cathedral of Carminster, where nothing of great importance has happened for many years, except for the theft of some valuable emeralds by a band of thieves led by a patron of the cathedral. The emeralds were never recovered. The sudden death of the organist and the search by different characters -magisterially described by George A. Birmingham- of the mysterious score of a Te Deum, gives rise to the author to develop his particular sense of humor in a unique bibliomystery of its kind.
