First World War. While the main European cities bleed to death in the conflict, Barcelona is one of the great pearls of the Mediterranean. Despite its status as neutral territory, no one is unaware that there are ports on the coast where fuel and food can be illegally supplied, with the approval of the local authorities, and that German submarines arrive at Cape Ixent where all kinds of interests are brewing and conflicts with secret services, double agents and spies on both sides. In the nerve center of this Barcelona in full urban turmoil, with the noise of the streets, the noise of the bars, the casino gambling and the night shows, arrives Amadeu, a boy from the village, who is looking for a dancer with whom his father had lived a strange adventure. He only has one clue: she is the fourth girl from the left in a photograph that he keeps in his jacket pocket. Immediately he discovers that her name is Amanda Rogent and that she is exhibited at the Moulin Rouge: a real star whom he loves to shock. Amadeu needs to find answers, but discovering the truth is not always the best thing that can happen to you...
