La vida es un tango, Gari
Mantzizidor, Urko
Can a normal person become a drug dealer if given the opportunity to do so? Gari and Irati, a conventional life couple, will be dragged into a maelstrom of lies and violence due to the selfishness and greed that nestle in his spirit. Gari, an amateur triathlete, finds a bundle of cocaine while he is swimming in the Urdaibai estuary. His choice is clear: associated with his brother-in-law Unai, a small-time drug dealer, he will try to sell the drug, thus unleashing a series of events that involve dealers of different levels, corrupt policemen, addicts, judges, and even his own family. The novel recounts Gari's descent into hell, who voluntarily renounces a life that had been developing according to conventional standards, to the point of being dragged into the spiral of violence that he himself has unleashed and from which he is unable to escape. . His intention to sell the cocaine clashes head-on with the interests of Corso, leader of the largest drug-trafficking gang in Bizkaia and owner of the bundle, who will spare no means or methods to eliminate the threat that Gari and his associates pose to his business... The course of events and the painful disappointment regarding Gari's attitude and values will cause a profound transformation in Irati, who will play a key role in the outcome of the plot.
