La voz de entonces

La voz de entonces

Vias Mahou, Berta

There are families whose history is, in a certain sense, that of an entire country. Or that of an entire century. This occurs with that of the Vias from the last years of the American colonies to the end of the 20th century, going through turn-of-the-century Spain and the decline of the empire, but also the Rif War, the Republic, the civil war and its consequences, the harsh post-war , the developmentalism of the sixties... This novel is based on the author's memory: it is her memories and also the stories that were told in her house, the ones that continue to narrate forever, in the ear, bumping into each other on occasions, all those voices from another era.
