Las constituciones en España
desde la "Pepa" hasta la Constitución de 1978
Montagut, Eduardo
One of the great advances that different Western countries implemented in their social development process was the drafting and application of a legal and political text destined to become the maximum law of a State. These texts forged what is now the separation of powers and, its constitutive nature, formed the very basis of democracy. Spain was not outside these social movements and it was in 1812 when the Cádiz Constitution known as the "Pepa" saw the light of day. Since then, Spain has known several constitutions that this work analyzes, thereby showing the political, legal and social process that Spain has undergone until reaching the current Constitution of 1978.
