In June 2018, Amos Oz gave the Tel Aviv University audience what would be his last lecture, a lucid and hopeful talk in which, as a vital legacy, he condensed his political and human thought. After his death, the family and friends of one of the greatest and most committed intellectuals of the 20th century decided to publish the text so that his always needed voice would continue to find an echo among future readers.
