Chicago, 1950. Rosalind Porter has always defied convention: both in her work and physics to design the atomic bomb, and in the passionate love story she lived with her colleague Thomas Weaver. Five years after the end of the war and their romance, Weaver reconnects, and so does the FBI. Agent Charlie Szydlo wants Rosalind to spy on her former love, as he suspects that she is selling nuclear secrets to Russia. As Rosalind's feelings for the two men intensify, she will be forced to choose between the man she taught her to love, or the one whose love can save her.
