vida de una mujer
Ibáñez, Andrés
Inés de Padilla was born in 1469 and at the age of fifteen managed to enter the University of Salamanca at a time when studies were closed to women except in exceptional cases such as that of Beatriz Galindo. She there she meets the man with whom she will maintain a long intermittent love affair. Already in Madrid, she enters the court of the Catholic Monarchs and becomes a lady of Juana la Loca. She lover of Juan de Padilla, she participates in the revolt of the comuneros. But, at the beginning of the 16th century, she becomes aware of an inexplicable fact: she has not aged a single day since she turned twenty-five. And so she continues to live, dodging dangers, until the dawn of the 21st century.
