Among the waters of the Aegean, in a long forgotten time, rises the glorious Crete of the original King Minos. The people that inhabit it, prosperous and peaceful, remain on the sidelines of an increasingly violent world. Until now. When Starn, youngest son of the Mines Sear, returns to the palace of Knossos after a long absence, he finds that the placidness he remembered has turned into distrust.
