Libro del frío

The appearance of Libro del frio in 1992, exactly thirty years ago, was a milestone in contemporary Spanish poetry. In its pages, the memorable, hymnical and fragmentary writing of Antonio Gamoneda entered a space of maximum intensity and expressive purification, moved by a relentless experience of time according to which 'yesterday and today are already the same day in my co reason'. We now recover this central book in Gamoneda's work with an invitation to read the poet Tomás Sánchez Santiago.
